Thanks for an interesting site; I am looking up the Battle of Little Big Horn. One interesting question is were any prisoners taken? Found one USA website that stated there were and there are many missing troopers. Another quoted Lt Godfrey who said he found no evidence, can you shed any light?

(sorry for the spelling)No survivors, no prisoners. Most historical accounts use the oral histories handed down by the Lakotan people because they match up surprisingly well with the archeological evidence from the battle. The indians report no prisoners taken.
